STRENGTH: FRONT SQUAT (6-4)

Today we will continue taking more of a strength cycle approach to our front squat work. This might look like the rep scheme from Savat Strength, and it is; kinda, but not really.

When we cycle through Savat Strength we use percentages from the chart as a reference as to how to load the barbell for each set. This cycle has us taking more of a ‘feel-based weight loading.’ Last week, we began this and we will carry it out from our previous working weight. So, hopefully you wrote down the numbers that you did last week. If you went home and thought you had more in the tank this would be the time to add some weight to get more ‘dialed-in.’ If you thought you were spot on last week, then you will add a little more weight to make up for the fact that our reps have decreased some this week. Basically, MORE WEIGHT (said in a Mike Savat voice).
