Strength: Back Squat 6-4
Back at it with Savat Strength Week 3. The goal today is to find your max 6 rep weight and then do a second set at that weight of 4 reps. In order to get a ballpark number you can assume you gained 10 pounds on your back squat during Wendler. Take that ACTUAL number (not 90 %) and reference a chart in the gym. They are generally pretty accurate. If you take notes, and everyone should, you can go back and reference previous Savat Strength cycles to really dial in what you will be taking a run at.
WOD: Partner ‘Angie’
100 Pull-ups
100 Push-Ups
100 AbMat Sit-ups
100 Air Squats
*Each section of 100 reps must be completed before you can move on to the next section of work. Break it up between partners however you would like, but each partner must do the same amount of reps (aka everyone is doing 50 reps in each section).
Another day, another Birthday WOD! This time, it’s an extra special birthday. From my calculations, it appears to be Kelli Lois’ Golden Birthday!!!!!! Kelli is such a rockstar, she’s been rocking the WODs with an extra special partner for a few months now. I thought it would be fitting to do a partner WOD for her special day. However, this version of a partner WOD makes it easier for us, a lot easier than Kelli’s partner WODs have been lately…
