Today’s class format is going to be a little unique for a Tuesday. It’s going to feel more like a Saturday than Tuesday to be honest. We will meet at the whiteboard to talk about the WOD and to strategize. Then, we will warm-up and prime ourselves to tackle this WOD. Let’s also briefly go over the points of performance for the clean and jerk. Then, you can gather all the weights you will need and figure out what your strategy will be. Finally, we WOD. Aaaaand, there might be time for some mobility at the end!
This will be our final Tuesday with the clean and jerk, next week we will be moving on to the snatch. I thought this WOD was a fitting send-off. We have actually completed a version of this WOD before. It was the very first WOD that I programmed on August 1, 2016. I modified the weights for that WOD, but this version is straight from Crossfit.com. It last appeared on their website on 160625
