STRENGTH: 1 SPLIT JERK (BACK RACK, OHS GRIP) + 2 OHS
Let’s combine our recent work with the Split Jerk and combine it with where we are going in the future (maintaining our overhead position)! We will take the bar from the rig, on our back rack, and complete a split jerk with our over head squat grip and complete a doubles for the OHS.
If you weren’t around for the split jerk session that we just completed, you can push press/push jerk the bar off your back rack into the overhead position. The goal is to get more comfortable with that position for our future work with the snatch…
*If you lack the mobility to get into a good overhead position, today would be a great day to work on mobility, too!
