STRENGTH: Back Squat (10-10-8)

This is our second week in our new ‘hypertrophy’ cycle. The reps will begin to creep up as the weeks carry on. Remember, throughout this entire cycle the volume is what is the most important. Make sure that you are getting in each of the reps in all of the sets. Make the necessary modifications to the weight if need be.

Weight for each of the sets will be on the whiteboard.

 

WOD: 15 M EMOM -or- to Failure*

Minutes 1-3: 5 Clean and Jerks (95/65)

Minutes 4-6: 5 Clean and Jerks (115/80)

Minutes 7-9: 5 Clean and Jerks (135/95)

Minutes 10-12: 5 Clean and Jerks (155/105)

Minutes 13-15: 5 Clean and Jerks (185/135)

*You may continue the WOD until you are no longer able to complete the work in the allotted minute. If you cannot finish the 5 clean and jerks in the time, you will be finished. We will talk before we go.

 

Let’s start this week off right-with a Birthday WOD! Today we get to celebrate Sam Clark. She has requested an EMOM of sorts and I think this WOD will do the trick. Come on and and help us celebrate Sam all day long!!!!!
