STRENGTH: PUSH PRESS
We just finished up a mini-cycle of OHS, so let’s compliment our squat clean cycle on Tuesday with some shoulder-to-overhead on Thursday. Today, take some time to work doubles. Base the weight you move off of the points of performance that we talk about before we start! When completing a push press the points of performance are:
- Vertical Dip, with knees out over your toes.
- Use the drive to give you the necessary momentum, keeping the weight in your heels.
- GET YOUR FACE OUT OF THE WAY!!!!
- Focus on good bar path.
- Full extension over your midline.
