STRENGTH: Front Squat (8-6)

So today, we will be taking more of a strength cycle approach to our front squat work. This might look like the rep scheme from Savat Strength, and it is; kinda, but not really.

When we cycle through Savat Strength we use percentages from the chart as a reference as to how to load the barbell for each set. With this cycle, we are going to use the first week as our guiding principle. You won’t have to reference the chart today, you just have to build up to your heaviest set of 8. Then, after a little rest, you will keep that same weight on the bar and complete the set of 6.
