STRENGTH: OVERHEAD SQUAT

So, we haven’t spent a lot of time on the OHS, lately. Now that we are spending more time with the clean and jerk on our ‘Oly Day,’ I thought we should try and maintain our overhead mobility and strength. So, let’s work doubles. If you are experienced with the OHS work up to a heavy double. If you are a ‘newbie’ to the overhead position let’s just work mobility and movement!

 

WOD: 3 M AMRAP; For 3 Cycles

10 DB Snatch (50/35)

20 DU (40 SU)

15 DB Snatch

30 DU (60 SU)

20 DB Snatch

40 DU (80 SU)

25 DB Snatch

50 DU (100 SU)

 

*Continue adding 5 DB Snatch Reps and doubling the snatch reps for DU Reps until the 3M are up

*Rest 1M in between each cycle.

*For Each cycle restart the AMRAP from the beginning.
