Same attempt speech that you heard for bench press. Remember to fill your thoracic cavity…ie “brace” your midline before you move. Control your lower speed and have PATIENCE coming out of the bottom. Make sure you grab a trainer, Tabes or G to spot you & make sure you are on the same page regarding how you will be spotted. In other words don’t kill your spotter by quitting on the lift or dropping the bar.
