Strength: Back Squat 10-8

So, we continue week 5 of our extended strength cycle.  Week 5 is actually week 1 of Savat Strength. The goal today is to find your max 10 rep weight and then do a second set at that weight of 8 reps.  In order to get a ballpark number you can assume you gained 10 pounds on your back squat during Wendler.  Take that ACTUAL number (not 90 %) and reference a chart in the gym.  They are generally pretty accurate.  If you take notes, and everyone should, you can go back and reference previous Savat Strength cycles to really dial in what you will be taking a run at.  The past 4 weeks should also be factored into your 1 RM assumption.  If you were getting your reps, great, but if you struggled you may want to adjust your 1 RM load assumption.
